If he doesn't yield to Steve's demands on trying to gain some power back, then Steve will start attacking him and the doxxing will more than likely commence from there. Conversely, if he does yield to Steve's demands, then he will drive off the overwhelming majority of the user base and listeners. In that scenario, it would be KW6USA funding an entire repeater purely for Steve's enjoyment.

Comments: I miss the Terry-Jimmy banter. Sure Jinny antagonizes the shit out of everyone, and jimmy doesn’t know when to stop, but he’s got a good heard in there somewhere and I quite enjoyed the razz. Now Steve has robbed us of his wackiness as well as radicalizing Terry against hootin in a way that leaves us with much less banter. Terry just a few months ago admitted himself he used to really enjoy the occasional kewso with him and misses it; that hootin has become “a real asshole”. Hootin is the same but Steve has poured gasoline on what used to be lighthearted and sarcastic and he’s quite proud that he was able to affect other people’s lives because he can’t affect his own. Y’all know how that shirt works.. Terry, god willing, will be with us for years to come. But Steve is robbing him of an enjoyable experience on the repeater and that’s just unfair. Terry loves his community on 450 but finds himself switching it off sometimes for hours or days on end.. Steve doesn’t care about anything other than himself from moment to moment. He has no concept of the future, or responsibility, or the repercussions he may bring with his actions. Do you all remember when Steve acted like a millionaire?— some high power, handsome, wealthy individual adored by women and men alike? That’s because Steve has the consciousness of a goldfish and anyone with a memory longer than 15 minutes inadvertently terrorizes his reality by acknowledging claims he’s made merely for momentary gratification. Unfortunately this probably stems from his abuse as a child; often as a response to trauma children become adults who can’t string together a causal reality where multiple events build a timeline from which one of many outcome is an overview of one’s reliability, reputation, and character may be observed.. instead he finds it confusing that he’s unable to develop meaningful relationships, such as those that transcend the depth of a squabble, and thinks the world is against him. Steve employs a revolving cast of nemeses to define himself as a perpetual victim— another craving often left over from childhood abuse is to be acknowledged for being victimized instead of dismissed— instead of focusing that energy on building familiarity with the fellow ham radio operators that populate his entire social ecosystem. Unfortunately at this stage he is probably unlikely to change these traits because they have become permanent pathologies through decades of negative reinforcement, but someone with a sufficient interest in exploration and risk may adopt new behaviors into their interpersonal lives to reveal rewarding and productive new habits rather than the ones the sufferer cannot escape repeating to their own detriment. Effectively, if Steve toned down the wacko shit people would permit it as instead of exhausting it is sarcastic, slapstick, and entertaining— the fact that he beats his toy drum awl day n aaawwwlll night frankly muddles all potential enjoyabikity. Keep it novel Steve, and people will actually let you be. The whole radio is just waiting for you not to go away completely but to hone your craft into something more than a persistent personality disorder taking over a mentally I’ll shut-in’s final years. You can do it Steve. I know his whole thing was truly dark and demoralizing to you but I actually do believe in you.
