Comments: I clearly recall Cliff’s edict so I stopped talking to Elsinore Peak Squeaky Cliff specifically commanded everyone to totally ignore all unidentified stations. He said "If you seem to have a feeling that you need to talk to these stations do it elsewhere or we will ask you to leave the repeater. This is not a request...... this is an edict if you will. " "I hope we don't have to excommunicate somebody from the channel but that is the bottom line, if we can't get a hold of this situation any other way you will be asked to leave the channel, not to return". "This applies to everyone, there are no exceptions for this" Right after an unidentified station keyed up and said "JMM is a cocksucker" When net control called roll it was no surprise that JMM did not respond when his callsign came up. There was practically nothing in that mess of lies posted by "The Real [Fake] KA6JMM", but I just thought I'd drop a line to let the readers of the Flamebook know that the minimum weight of a S-250 Communications Pod [empty] is right around 1,100 pounds, not 300. Depending on how much gear is being held within, it's closer to 1,500 pounds standard. You might notice that's why it had to be picked up with a crane. As for the rest of it, no one cares who in "the Valley" or the collection of miscreants that make up the "Secret Jamming Squirrel Squadron" radio club or the Menifee Morbidly-Obese Minions wants JMM around. If nothing else, JMM was fun to hear on the radio, even when [especially when?] he was making outlandish statements.
Comments: I got the real life mansplain about KA6JMM being banned from the W6CDW repeater. Now I see things in a whole new light! Ever. Don't acknowledge their transmissions or play into their game. His edict was that he cannot tolerate unauthorized stations on the repeater nor can he tolerate anybody responding to them. If someone does engage them that "someone" (KA6JMM) will be excommunicated from the channel, asked to leave and not return. So it is now abundantly clear JMM was never held accountable for the actual jamming. JMM was repeatedly warned not to engage the jammers, he was demoted from being a control op and finally he was "excommunicated", or permanently banned because he couldn't follow the repeater rules (a common failure of his apparently). So thanks to the person who sent me the link/recording of Cliff's actual words! I was wrong to thing JMM was blamed for anything but his own refusal to follow the repeater's rules. Comments: As I recall it, Cliff Wallace had a three car garage full of ham crap at his house in Frazier Park. Old Motorola walkie talkies (HT100?), some supposedly rare beecause of the red cases. Also it was a collection of Gonset radios, not Gibson Girls, sheesh Rick! JMM had an agreement with Cliff to dispose of a bunch of it by selling it at the Claremont Swap Meet. Every month JMM would get on the repeater and pretend to think about going to Claremont but that never happened. There was definitely a business relationship going on as any money gained from Claremont swap meet sales was to go into the repeater maintenance fund. I recall another time when the repeater needed a new VHF Arrow corner reflector and Cliff encourged JMM to just go buy one so the tower climbing contractor could install it. All of us in the club were sick & tired of the low performance of the VHF Omni antenna up there. But anyhow, JMM did have the official capacity to spend money from the repeater fund. Blind Larry

Comments: Whoo Boy! Why would anybody in their right mind stick up for KA6JMM?? Nobody here in the Valley misses KA6JMM. He and his traveling circus of jamming fleas are a plague on legitimate Ham Radio. Nowadays he is bringing his radio circus to HF. For _years_ JMM and his faux-buddies RXE and ACH could be heard late at night on the Elsinore Peak repeater having long, friendly conversations with a prolific jammer calling himself "Elsinore Peak Squeaky". JMM never lifted a finger to catch the guy. All I ever heard was techno babble of TDOA, spectrum analyzers and "Door knocks" but JMM never caught a single jammer in his life. Truth is, he enjoys the attention. Cliff Wallace dumped him for good reasons. JMM was also a regular at the Menifee club meetings, eating up our free food and angling to win our raffles but he never actually joined and paid dues. In December of 2018 he didn't pay the fees for the repeater's website and it was almost shut down. He always blathered on about being wealthy but he was the cheapest and laziest sort of ham around.
