To clarify, malicious interference with any station, for any reason, constitutes a violation of FCC Regulation 97.101(d), regardless of whether the individual has permission to use a specific repeater. Multiple violations committed by Mr. Chris Jones over the past weekend have been documented and formally reported to the FCC. In accordance with proper repeater management practices, control operators are expected to take appropriate measures, including managing repeater input, to prevent unauthorized or disruptive operators from accessing the repeater system. Furthermore, should any operators violate FCC regulations while utilizing the 147.450 MHz repeater, Mr. Jones will be held accountable as the responsible party for maintaining compliance. By knowingly allowing such violations to occur—under the guise of what he refers to as a “show”—Mr. Jones is facilitating regulatory infractions. Additionally, formal complaints have been filed with the FCC against TASMA and KW6USA regarding alleged frequency monopolization.
