They'll skip out on rent the last several months, leave the place in shambles, and then chimp out if you confront them about it. Realign your narcissistic powers to other ventures.

James just have some respect for your Elmers and everything will be fine. Even though there are some factual statements in your emotional plea, it is all unecessary. Comments: Open letter to kw6usa Chris, I am in receipt of your email regarding the 147.450 repeater. Although it is unclear at best and by your OWN statements, who actually owns the repeater, I have several questions; 1) Please provide me a copy of the rules and directives you refer to in your email. I have never seen them and am not aware that any rules or directives exist, apart from Part 97 requirements. Additionally, you have over the last several months appointed over a dozen "control operators", please provide a list or reference as to who you are referring to when you say "control operator". Also if you are able to establish ownership of the repeater (not KD6JTD, or most recently KD6GDB who you said on the air many times had purchased the repeater), please provide a CURRENT reference to who the CURRENT control operators are at all times. You cannot expect myself or anyone else on the repeater to follow a nonexistent set of rules and directives, enforced by a nameless "control operator" and then when it suits you, allege a violation of these mystery rules and demand a station cease operation. This repeater is referenced in many online listings as an "open" repeater, with the input/output frequencies and CTCSS tones publicly listed. If you wish to operate a closed repeater, you should consider changing it's online presence to reflect that, and require users to "sign up" or otherwise document their presence, and make that list available so other users can know with certainty who is authorized and who is not. This repeater is privately owned, however it operates on FCC licensed amateur radio frequencies and needs to be administered as such. Over the last several months you have verbally imposed over 40 "bans", most of which you immediately violate by talking on the air to the banned operator. Myself and many other users enjoy the use of the repeater and desire its operation to continue, however it cannot continue to be run as a "cool kids club" where participation is wholly dependent on the whims of one person, especially when the actual ownership of the repeater and the credibility it carries, could be described as murky at best. I look forward to receiving the information you referenced and until then I wish to thank our ham radio colleagues for providing the repeater for its use.
