I just got off the horn with him a few minutes ago, and he noted that as part of his presidency, Steven Hoffman's birthday will be a federal holiday called "National Creepy Whackjob Day".

This important holiday will allow every LEGAL American citizen the opportunity to receive free mental health care. If a psychiatrist determines that an individual needs further treatment, it will be paid for by Steve Hoffman.

It appears to me that Laura Smith and her crack team of communication overlords do not give a monkeys ass about 435/450 repeater activities and operator behaviors. As long as the ham operators remain on the free for all repeaters the FCC don't care. If any of these hams start jamming emergency frequencies or business license frequencies the FCC will step up legally. Nastygrams from the FCC carry no weight. Steve Hoffman and the likes of him will always be on the air. I guess the bad eggs of repeater air traffic attract an audience. I myself enjoy listening to some of that trailer park transmitting at times. If there ever comes a time for a real purpose for ham radio such as natural disaster then the true ham operators will step up and help out. Until that day the ham sloperators will just have to be tolerated
